    Hi everyone,

can someone try to remove the back cover and take some Screenshots? I would like to install a wireless charging coil and do not have the keyone to check if it will fit.

Would be nice if someone could take some pics.

What i also want to do is paint the back cover in a different color so i would be really happy if it is easy to remove the back cover.

    Thanks.

... literally my favorite part of getting a new phone haha. I remember friends, who always left the plastic on their phones, would never let me borrow theirs because they knew exactly what i'd do!

Lol you're so cruel. Stay away from my phone!

Actually I would have removed it but then it's stuck on pretty nicely. Just had to cut the tab. Now waiting for a decent case and it'll be gone.

    Hi me again,

did get my keyone today and did remove the back cover myself.

Here are the pics. There are no visible pins which can be used for wireless charging.

Removal of the cover was easy. Starting from the left corner. The only problem was putting it back on.

The lens corner must be pushed in first then the corner. After that you can push the cover down on the sides.

I broke of one of the small hooks so be carefull

Awesome pics! Man, if someone made a transparent back cover I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Yes, the inside appearance goes very well with the K1's industrial look.

Cool pics!! Hmm, wondering if a wireless charging coil would work? Sounds like it's not that easy to take off and put back on (if you broke one of the small hooks?)

Not necessarily. Every manufacturer packages the internals differently. Materials and colour can also enhance its appearance.

This bodes well for battery replacement; many phones are a royal PITA to get to the battery when (not if!) it loses enough capacity to **** you off. This one will be easy.

Looks that way. In fact that's one of the best arguments for buying a KEYOne out there -- most phones these days have glued-on or impossible-to-remove backs (since they're not a separate piece); the battery has to be accessed on these phones from the FRONT, which means removing the screen -- and a high-wire act in disconnecting things not made for more than one or two insertions over their life.

That the rear cover is removable without a lot of drama means that IF the battery wears out or dies changing it is a nearly risk-free proposition, which makes it both easy and inexpensive.
