Thank you so much for kind offer I appreciate it very much, you know I will wait and see a little while longer to see what happens. My Z10 still works very well and I have my iPad to bridge the gap so I will survive

Bbstore.com.au has a pre order up on their site now for end of May with free delivery. Only $950. As much as I would like one, my Priv is still going too strong to part with that sort of cash

Good grief, even the mention of that grey importer boggles the mind.

Not worth the breath rehashing the horror stories of dealing with them.

So, they're on-selling the selfridge phones to the unwary, and adding a couple of hundred dollars extra just for the heck.

A couple of important things to note:

aus price likely to be $799

BlackBerry doesn't have a store in Australia....

And BlackBerry mobile haven't indicated their selling distributors.

And to top it off, if they're selling current UK imported stock then they're the wrong version device. Ours are the Asia pacific bands, which are the same as the US, CA etc. Which have yet to be released.

the UK is part of the EMEA bands.

This is not true... Australia is the same band as UK. US and CA are actually different.

I'm a bit confused here, although there are clearly differences, I believe Telstra at least, uses bands 1,3,20,28 and 38 which are all available on UK and USv1

Here are a couple of aus band info sites :
Australia's mobile frequencies: 3G, 4G, and LTE bands -- Ausdroid

    https://oztowers.com.au/Bands

Post back if all the telstra bands are met , or not, by the UK model ....

So it looks like if you want to buy one from Bbstore.com.au or OS or from anywhere else other than a phone retailer, look at your providers mobile bands and buy your model accordingly. Those on Vodafone can probably buy any countries stock and get away with it. Hopefully Telstra will stock it.
