I'm really looking forward to the Key1 too.

I started this thread just after the Barcelona release:
    http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe.../#post12788270

Apparently the price will be aud799.

I'm wondering how we're going to be able to buy a factory unlocked key1, so i'm hoping that stores that currently stock the tcl models will have it.

It goes without saying that I will not consider the grey reseller that has no relationship with blackberry, the bbstore in sydney.

I am also waiting to get a hands on. As you say, will be interesting who stocks it. I have bought 3 or 4 BlackBerrys over the years from the grey reseller in Sydney and even though they are over priced, I am always happy with the phones, support and services.

Over priced is the least of it! Order and pay for a factory unlocked and unbranded device and get given a locked branded att device is another!

Order accessories that never arrive etc etc and the various forums, including this one, are full of woe stories re dealing with them.

They rarely answer the phone directly, the answering machine often ceases to function cos it's overfull, and they rarely return your calls.

The delay in getting a product from the time it's purchased. I could keep going on.

Wow, what a string of poor service results. Sounds like I have just been lucky. If I had any of those problems happen to me, I would not go back either. They must support corporations to still be in business as they only sell BlackBerrys.

They also have an accessories business using a different web site, and some sort of support site, from memory. They really are very poor form and it surprises me they're still in business.

I'm going to be looking at expansys, bought sister a Priv and DTEK60 for the girlfriend. So far, no problems and getting patches each month. Unlocked devices as well. Communication is good with them as well. Actually respond unlike BBstore!

Lol, as it's tcl doing the distribution we have no idea how this is all going to work, but for some inexplicable reason we often get a month or more delay on the release of stuff in Australia.

And it's going to cost $799 here, so as there only appear to be two distinct band differences, cdma and rest of world, it'll probably be better for us to buy through crackberry store US, or clove uk.

I'm also in the waiting room. I was lucky to grab Passport and Priv on launch from Optus outright, even though they stated they don't sell it outright since those were exclusive phones.

Hopefully I'll get lucky again. Can't move to Optus for this as I'm stuck using Telstra where I live.

I have ordered it from Clove now. Australia has just a week to reveal the release details.

Clove officially has release date of 22nd May but from their email to interesting parties points out that they may ship earlier or around 5th May.

Either ways if they send by 5th I'll cancel order. Now wondering where I can find some Accessories while I'm waiting.
