I've been using poweramp as my audio player for many months and have noticed when on my K1 the music gets choppy/blips quite often. Seems to coincide if I get a social media message or a notification.

Not sure if it's the phone doing stuff in the background that is interrupting play OR its the media card?

I've never had this issue on the priv.

Anyone else have this issue?

Is it the media player?

Can those that don't have the issue share which music app you are using?

I use the default Google Music player....

I'd test it with files on the phone to rule out the card. Might also suggest clearing your device cache. Might go into Developer Options and turn on Show CPU usage...

Thanks Mate! You are a gentleman and a scholar!! I tried playing my music on google music player and the issue disappeared. Looks like it's poweramp.

Too bad as it was not only a paid app but a good one too atleast on my PRIV and prior devices.

On the positive side, I guess it's one less app I have to have on my phone!
