Hello. I have a KeyOne and my friend has a Motion. Both of us are having the exact same problem where new texts, voice mails, emails, etc don't give an audio notification. That's a huge problem. Sometimes rebooting the phone will bring them back, but after a few days it's silent again.

    What gives?

    Thank you.

Same problem here, BBB100-1 on Rogers, locked to Rogers, ABI087. Only had this problem AFTER a factory reset on ABI087. Never did a factory reset anytime before ABI087.

Phone was originally on Nougat from Sep.2017, updated OTA for every update to Sep.2018, never sideloaded anything.

Also, in Do Not Disturb, long press of a keyboard shortcut results in a vibration. All vibration is turned off in Settings->Sound, as well as in the Notifications section of BlackBerry Launcher, BlackBerry Hub+ Services, and BlackBerry Keyboard. So what is making the vibration happen?

Same problem here. A restart usually fixes it for a few hours but then again some notifications have sound some not and is becoming a bit annoying to be honest.

so I noticed this but figured out that when I silenced my phone using 'Q' as shortcut the ringer volume would got back to normal but the notifications would stay silent.

as dumb as it sounds expand the volume menu and ensure notifications are still not on silent, your volume buttons won't adjust this they only do the ringer 😉

I've definitely checked all of my volume sliders and my notification settings inside the apps I want notifications for, which are multiple Hub email accounts and the Android Messages app which is what I use for SMS/MMS.

Never had any notification problems until I did my first factory reset to fix an unrelated problem (upgrading to Oreo broke my VoLTE and Video Calling, factory reset fixed that, but broke notifications..). Considering another factory reset, but doing the same thing should produce the same result. Maybe I need to unsubscribe from the BlackBerry Beta programs, which gives me beta versions of the Hub, Hub+ Services, and other things?

I experienced the same problem. Rebooting would clear it until next time the Q button long pressed.

I've just done a soft reset - battery pull - and this has seemingly fixed the problem.

Turn phone off. Push and hold the power button for 32 seconds, then release.

Hi,did anyone fix their notification problems?!?
I'm running Oreo 8.1 and while my screen is asleep I don't receive notifications and as soon as I wake the phone up they all come through.

I've said in another thread that I think it's Oreo update as my Huawei running 8.1does the same thing also.
