I think I figured it out, the issue is if you have dark theme enabled it lags, I switched back and it's extremely fast. without any restarts .

I'm not using the launcher on a Keyone so that point is moot.

I agree. Hopefully it's fixed soon. But I don't know if maybe others are worse than mine, but mine is like a split second delay, it really isn't a big deal at all. Are any of you experiencing it any more than that?

Dark theme on a priv here, after some browsing the first opening of the drawer took 2 seconds. After that it took 1 second everytime to open. If i leave the launcher in background it goes back to 2 seconds or more again. Looks like some RAM got paged out, or it caches the list of installed apps/widgets/icons too shortly/not aggressive enough :/

Hope it's only the worse Hardware. Thought of switchting to KeyOne because i assumed even the BlackBerry launcher would be blazing fast, like it is on my xperia with similiar specs to keyone...

No lag at all for me, in light theme. I just checked and it was instant.

I keep seeing threads about lag, it's like half of KeyOne owners have lag and the other half don't...I don't get it. Mine has been very smooth for a week now with no lag, freezing or slow downs at all....in any app...ever.

Its actually a problem with the launcher itself. Though, it could also happen once your phone has so many things loaded in background.

Definitely caused by the dark theme. Light theme is very quick. With dark theme on it takes 1 or sometimes 2 seconds to open the app drawer, and scrolling within the app drawer is also very choppy.
