I would prefer the whole silver exterior tbh but with the 4th gb of ram and 64gb storage.

I'd also buy the back cover with silver BB logo and silver camera ring and swap that out.
This would bring the look that the KEYone should have came with.
Yes the silver frets would look great on the black version. I actually sold my black edition and went back to the silver. Much prefer the look overall of the silver one as I found the black to be too blacked out i.e. you couldn't see the beautiful lines and details of the device.
Is there any difference between the two keyboards? For example the difference between the silver and black Passports is apparent. The SilverPP keyboard is much better than the black IMO. Easier tactile keys to press, better feel etc..
Has anyone tried both keyboards? Is there any difference?

I have been always wanted to do this, but it doesn't seems as easy as old bb10 days. I used to swap out pearl(if u remember :)), keyboard, or even frames as I wanted.
I have a silver one with 3gb ram in my drawer, so I have every spare parts to swap out with my black one ready.
I just need to have how to video or instructions with pics.
I want the silver keyboard and silver frets + silver blackberry logo and camera ring on black framed device just like one mentioned above. it will be the looker IMHO.
or would the local repair shop make a Frankenstein phone as I ask if I bring my two phones?
I had both and they feel the same.
I don't have a KeyOne so I haven't paid much attention to the teardown videos but they are there. I've completely taken apart almost every BB10 device and switched out keyboards, screens, etc and it really wasn't too difficult if you have steady hands and the right tools.
I agree, the silver frets and silver logo on the back would look awesome with the black Frame.

The original silver with the blacks bumped specs is my ideal device. I am currently rocking a se back but would like a silver one again. Always thought it looks better but probably because it reminds me so much of my ppse.
I know this is an old thread, but has anyone actually done this? I think silver frets would look amazing on my black KEYone!
