When I search for a device on Bluetooth it shows the device names as a bunch of letters and numbers. It looks like an IP address.

The BT device ID's take awhile to ping and then populate the names. You can also try connecting to them to download the name faster.

As for car BT; it really depends on the car. I have an audi and have to do some funky work to get full functionality of the phone to integrate with the car [thanks lamborghini, maker of the audio systems for the audi]. For my particular edition and car, I can pair the phone to the in-car BT for phone calls only, and it is rather limited. To stream music, you need to buy an aftermarket MMI-BT interface and plug it into the slot. One decent example is Tune2Air. Through this you can stream music, play music from SD card e.t.c.

Overall, the BT on the Keyone is better than the priv - you can connect to and maintain connections to more devices.
