There we go, it's not the CB ring but it's the same to get grip...

I do. But I'm also coming from a PRIV. I'm waiting on my amzer case to fix that.

I liked that idea, too, until I found the thread where someone ripped his K1's back open when removing his phone from a sticky car mount and I don't like the idea of my K1 flying around the car while the back is still on that hanger...

(In that same thread, someone else reported he accidentally lifted his back, too, when trying to reposition the Spigen ring.)

I saw your post over there. You have good idea to stick the ring to a case and not to the phone's backing.

Do you guys find the phone slippery to hold? All the reviews I read and watched before i bought it, said the phone was grippy to hold(maybe just the back) but I find it so slippery, even the back I don't find that grippy. Maybe it's just me and not wanting to drop it but it does take some use to holding it right, especially with the convenience button in the way a lot of times. Never had that issue with the PRIV or Passport and I hate putting cases on any of my phones. Anyways, still loving the phone more and more daily!!!
I haven't found my classic the least bit slippery, and only just ordered ny keyone yesterday.

However, if you have some 3M grip-tape, that might work for you. I've kind of covered my iphone with it so i can hold onto the thing. It also makes it hard for the device to fall out of your pocket. fwiw.

Good idea. And the tape will hold the screen on too

I notice the drier my hands are the slipperier it gets. If they are not dry, it does feel grippier for sure and easy to hold. Do you got pics with the 3M grip tape on your KeyONE?

I think the reason it is slightly slippier than other phones is that the frame is kind of thick and made of aluminum which is a slippery material. But the rubber back helps a lot. I for instance can't properly hold the DTEK60 or the Samsung S7 without a case because they are glass and super slippery. Of course if I hold any phone after having delicious chicken wings that solves all slippery issues LOL...

Personally I don't think the phone is actually slippery when compared to some all-glass slabs, however after watching many video reviews, I was expecting better grip. Compared to the very grippy Classic and Passport SE, the K1 is less grippy for sure. I have even to admit that I ordered the Incipio Dual Pro case to increase the grip. While I haven't dropped it yet, some additional grip (as well as protection for work/outdoors) is nice to have.

Compared to my oneplus 3t this is slippery. I think it's the thickness. I'm debating going naked with a leather pouch or with a slim case.
