Hopefully an update can make that better
Had mine 24 hours now and everything works perfectly.
Bought mine on 29 April in London, Selfridges, Car Phone Warehouse. Sim free, using UK BT network. Used for three days in Portugal also. NO problems, no screen falling off. The only reception issues are with the BT network here in the UK and not the phone. So far, so good. At least it hasn't burst into flames like the recent Samsung flagship model did and was subsequently abandoned by Samsung :-)
Got mine on the 12th May. Shipped from selfridges. No issues with it. Used autoloader to move firmware up to AAL. Dropped my phone on my bed which bounced off it and onto the homogeneous tiles of my floor. No issues with it. No screen dropping off.
Perfect device on Rogers after replacing the first one which had a dim screen. Loving it more the 9900.
no issues, brilliant phone
Had it for a week no issues......used it many many hours......fantastic phone........favorite phone by far ....(previous BB's include Passport, Z30, Z10,, Bold) and iPhone
had mine a month with no faults.
I've had the phone for a week and no issues, build quality is great!
So far, 36 hours. Seems defect free structurally.
No problems with mine loving it so far
Over a month now and no issues still!
No issues after a replacement for a dim screened unit.
Had mine now for almost 3 weeks - absolutely the best phone I've used in years. I held out with my Z10 for the next Great pkb phone in the BlackBerry line (was never really satisfied with the reviews on any since the Z10 - except for the Passport - but by the time I could afford the SE, since it's not available on a Rogers plan - BB10 was already sounding it's death knoll).
The only concern I have is likely a user error or a software glitch that is bound to be solved in due time - I find that ending a phone call sporadically causes a 'phone freeze' that requires a reboot to get function back. The very fact that there seems to be no one else out there with the same issue has me believing it is most likely user error! lol
That is weird, haven't heard that one before... Have you tried doing a factory reset? (Of course you'll need to set everything up again) but it sounds like a weird software glitch, a factory reset or loading an autoloader should clear it up...
Mine works great! I don't think I have any issues or defects with it so far. My only real issues is the bad reception and sometimes the screen bugs out and seems to get jittery. I think it happens when I touch the side of the screen. Not entirely sure though, but I can confidently say my phone is defect free.
I am looking forward to some updates sooner than later, I hope they fix up all of the software bugs.
CDMA version and no issues
Most of it is not a defect per say, but issues. Some token issue with work app, teething pain with the battery (can't put this thing down), learning the physical keyboard again (love the scrolling) and screen size adjustment both apps and my aging eyes. This beast met and exceeded my expectations. This thing will only get better with time.
Right, how much time....
four weeks on and defect free thank goodness
Mine got a pube stuck in it today somehow.
Don't worry guys, according to some people we ALL will have the screen problems soon, lol. We won't be left out, no worries.
over two weeks now and still no issues
I've had mine for over 4 weeks now. Dropped 4 times, sat on to many times to count including having it in my pack pocket while riding my horse and jumping an entire speed Derby! Like new still :)
no issues. love it
