Mine came with one built-in defect: Android :-)

    Other than that, no issues.

Feel fortunate - I have a defect-free KEYone. Feel badly for those that got bum units.

I have dropped mine at least four times but it's still absolutely fine, I blame CBK though! I put a style ring on my dtek60 and got so used to using it but it just didn't feel the same on the KEYone so I took it off and now I forget it's not there and drop my phone. I will have to get used to not having one again.
Same here. Had been using it on my DTEK60 but found it totally unnecessary on my KEYone. Minimal drops so far. No case.

Mine had a bright red line accrued the screen, frequently got hot and froze. Opted for a refund.

Unboxed today and so far it's absolutely awesome compared to the PRIV.

Well, I just need to find out how to switch between keyboard with a shortcut. Anyone?

Got mine last night and absolutely love the KEYone, it blows the PRIV out of the water. I have noticed some of the keys in the middle are not as bright as others at the edge but I'm not sure if this is really considered a defect? I know it doesn't bother me any, I guess the questions in could it get worse or not work at all over time?

I think all the K1s so far have that, more or less.
    Leds placement, I think.
My K1 has it too, no big hassle.
Dont worry about it getting worse etc.

I got mine on June 2nd. After having been using it for 5 days , I don't see any issues. The phone is beautifully built with slick OS. The pkb works like a charm. Battery life is even better than my Passport. Wifi and LTE connection is very strong.

I've had mine since the 31st. I continue to love this phone more and more each day. My favorite phone -- and I've had a ton of them. From the very first iPhone all the way to iPhone 5S. Lumia 1050 (Windows Phone), then switched to Galaxy S6, Moto X Pure Edition, Note5, S7, Priv (briefly).

This phone is better than them all. Feels perfect in hand with a nice heft. Loud speaker phone (so many phones are terrible at being .. phones!), keyboard, nice display (not as nice as the OLEDs though), excellent battery life -- only my Windows Phone could do better, decent speed (though not as fast as my S7). Overall -- it does everything I need a phone to do and it does it _well_. I wish that other manufacturers did Android as well as BlackBerry.

I really hope more people get this phone. It is a revelation of what a phone _ought_ to be. Not a slippery polished mess of glass and display. But something useful.

For a while, I feared an NFC defect, as I could not get Android Pay working, yet it was fine on my Nexus 6P. After other Canadians chimed in reporting the same issues, it looks like there may be a software issue, either for BlackBerry or Android Pay (Google) to patch.

Otherwise, I'd say my KEYone has been a flawless experience since picking one up on May 31st.
Same for me.. I do believe it is an issue with the phone (hopefully SW only) as I cannot use Scotia mobile wallet to pay either. Scotia works flawlessly on my DTEK60

Really appreciate the time you guys are taking out of your day to provide these replies especially the ones going into more detail. We need to constantly remind people on the fence that yes, there are perfectly fine KeyOnes out there in the wild.

I'm not saying anyone is immune to problems or issues but what I tend to see on this board within a few weeks of release are doom and gloom posts that become viral so quickly. Kind of unfair in a sense since it might make it seem a whole lot worse than expected.

Thankfully it seems QC might be much more improved compared to the Priv's disaster not too far back.

I forgot to mention that I have dropped mine also a few times and still perfect, defect free. Not that dropping it and cracking the screen should be considered a defect, but it has survived all whoops so far.

The KEYone really is a beautiful device.

Also, interesting that so many reviewers had defect free devices, seems strange all these people on the forums are having strange issues. Hmmm
