I inadvertently deleted a video from my pretty new SD card (and it was before Google Photos had a chance to back up things). Is there any "secret" or "temp" location on SD card from which I could recover it? Thanks for any help! It's a very new SD card so not much on there yet.

Generally the data isn't gone just the headers for the file.... lots of file recovery apps out there. Unless your SD was encrypted.

I've used Pandora for photos. I think it might work for videos

If you have not over-written data over the existing deleted data, the old data is still on the media card.
I use the free file recovery program by Convar.
