The convenience key also doubles as mute key while on calls. However, unlike the convince option which can be disabled, I can't seem to find any way to disable the mute fiction, which I continue to accidently hit while on calls. Anyone know how to disable this "feature?"

You could try an app like https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...uttonsremapper

I'm not sure whether it actually has an option to disable the button completely, but you could always set it to be something less disruptive.

If you want to go that route, wouldn't it be better to just glue it in position?😆

Or they could use the glue BB Mobile originally used on the screen. That way at some time in the future, the button would spontaneously work again!

These replies are oh so hilarious. I can't believe no one else is annoyed by this mute button.

I was annoyed as all heck with this, and the rubber wraparound case provided enough stiffness to the button so I wouldn't keep muting. not a great workaround, but it worked.

Has anybody tried sticking/gluing some kind of cover over this button? I've considered just gluing it, but would prefer a "reversible" solution.

I was annoyed at first but now use a case and the rubber surround solved the issue
