Looks like the only color available is the black/silver combo which does look good but do you guys think there is a chance they'll offer it in white, red etc? They seem to have done that with lots of phones in the past, a little while after the original color is launched.

BlackBerry did, we'll see if BlackBerry Mobile does.

Did they do something similar with their Alcatel phones and release colour variances afterwards?

Wonder if places like colorware would do custom paints for this. You could also consider a skin.

My girlfriend would also grab a Keyone, as soon as the aluminium isn't silver, but more rose gold. Do you see any chance by do that by myself. Either by spraying colour on it or put kind a selfmade strip on the aluminium bezel?

I think the device looks great in silver. But I think it might look good in a dark gun metal too.

I doubt, that there will be a Cover, that only transforms the silver bezel into another colour. This is a different Story...

Ok, perhaps "plasti dip" could be the keyword here. It is very forgivable, as it has different characteristics to simple spray. But I doubt how good it looks afterwards.

Perhaps i will try it before on a bezel of my Q10, that I own as a sparepart...

Interesting l might order one if they make it for the keyone.. just a question by installing it do you lose the grippy texture on the back. Does the phone slide/easy to handle?

Maybe a company or two will be making skins? But people please don't spray paint! Too many tiny holes and speakers, etc to get clogged up!

They should have taken the risk and launched it with 3 colour options. I'm in huge favour of that. Limit production for the initial units and then produce more if they sell. If not just exhaust the supply you have an move on. I think this device has huge potential to make traction with younger crowds if it had colour options. Pink would sell like a hot cake.. Just saying.

No. they should use color to differentiate upgrade version of the keyone... like extra ram, enhanced antenna, or even strip down regional cheap version - with limited bands. same form, fit platform. call it keyone-E (enhanced), keyone-region name = A- asia, G-EU (greek) and F-africa, etc.. etc. IMHO... make a black and gold call it G or S=Superior...

I'm not sure that TCL is as interested in providing differing color variations as much as BlackBerry had been. Especially considering that the K1 seemingly is more geared towards the enterprise market.
