Over the past week I received an occasional email from Best Buy saying the CDMA version is back in stock. Basically by the time I hit the web site it is sold back out. However I really want to make the purchase from Amazon and maybe get the 5 payments deal that the GSM version has. But why, oh why, in the name of all that is holy can't Amazon get any CDMA in stock? What is going on? It's almost like they are purposely not selling it right now, either because of the defects, antennae, who knows. So frustrating.

Why not use the 12 month financing deal from Best Buy?

I have received 3 emails from Bestbuy stating that the KEYone CDMA version for Verizon is back in stock but when I click the link in the email to go to the product page it is out of stock. That's 3 separate emails over the past 2 weeks. I'm ready to give up.

This is nuts. Just received my 4th email from Bestbuy that the KEYone CDMA version for Verizon is In stock and when I click the shop now button the product page loads and states out of stock. I reloaded the page several times and still out of stock. Why is this happening?

I've read where some folks placed their order with Amazon even though their site said 1-2 months out, and then received their K1 like within a week or two. This whole roll out leaves something to be desired!

I guess it depends on how badly you want the CDMA K1. I found and bought a brand new one on ebay. Paid a little more, but I had it within a couple of days.

Worst Buy is probably ordering two at a time, sending out 400 emails saying "we have it!" and as soon as you click 5 minutes later when you check your email -- it's gone.

3 weeks max is the real wait time for Amazon. most likely you will get it in 2 weeks despite the 1-2 month estimated delivery

What will that do? I'm saying that when I go to amazon online and search for CDMA it only shows available ones to purchase for $750 no link for the CDMA phone through Amazon at the US price of $549

It looks like amazon is not offering the CDMA variant anymore. Try looking it up. All the ones available are from other people and not amazon themselves. There is no link to even pre-order back stocked CDMA keyones

I just posted something on the Priv board. I've given up on getting a KEYone, so I'm toying with the idea of a Priv instead. Only about $280 as opposed to the KEYone for $750-$800 on Amazon. No thanks.

Just checked and you are right, very disappointing. Maybe I will go back to the Priv.

I ordered one off of Amazon about a month ago. It said it would be two to three months before shipping, but about a week or so later it shipped in three days.

I noticed that the CDMA variant for sale for some reason got moved to way down on the first page or the second page, but was still there a while back when I checked. It just was not the first one or two anymore.

I'm figuring it will be back in stock soon.
BTW... I ordered mine on June 6th, they told me 1-2 months, and I received mine on June 20th.

I'm guessing they'll have the next batch up within a week or so.

Most of these are used and over priced.

I have the CDMA version on VZW, ported over to a new Nano-SIM in the store, took less than 10 min to convert from my Z10 and have had no signal or reception issues.

Order from Amazon and it will go into queue. First estimate I got was a month out. Then got an email that it was back in Stock and it showed up within a week.
