Your phone is up-to-date if the firmware on it is AAQ302. AAR846 is blue, so on the way but not yet released to OTA. For my phone, firmware, now at AAS212, it took a day or so to go from blue to black and OTA came soon after.

I had been receiving updates on a somewhat timely matter, I believe I was on the november release when my screen popped off and blackberry sent me a replacement device. This new device is in the september security patch and when I check for an update it tells me it's up to date. How can this be? I know it's lying to me, this is an unlocked device.

Always possible that the version BBM flashed on the refurb is not actually the correct version for the device (this has happened apparently). If this is the case then the OTA system will not deliver further updates until an official build for your PRD version is installed. Use the updater tool to flash the latest official build for your version, and you should be good to go from then on. At least, if you're delayed you'll know it's not the phone...

Reboot. On my replacement it was like that until I rebooted and then it grabbed November. I'm hassling Bell to give me December.
