I've heard whispers about some markets getting spec bumps, this might be it.

My only concern is what about the updates? We Priv users well know how updates are pushed
The spec bump and color are really nice, I could go for one but my only problem is the updates.

This is what angers me.. Bb is a Canadian company, we should be getting colour options. Ugh. And 4gb of ram?! If this holds true then I will not be buying a keyone then, why should we get shafted??

I would suggest that you not get too upset until/unless this is confirmed. It's still a rumour at this stage. Perhaps BlackBerry Mobile is just testing the waters to see if there's interest?

True, but if it does hold true then they won't suddenly sell it here.. Or if they do it will be at a premium as if the original keyone isn't already sold at a premium..

I wonder if they will release a black edition, with better specs. Are the band's different in Korea, or are they similar to Europe?

From Wikipedia it seems Korea's LTE bands are 1, 3, 5, 7, and 8. Both the BBB100-1 and BBB100-2 have all of these bands (the BBB100-3 is missing band 8), but whether this new model has the bands relevant in North America and/or Europe remains to be seen.

I bet the K2 will be like this. Remember the bump from 9700 to 9780? The all black was beautiful and it had more power as well. We have to be patient and buy what's out there, it's only true way of gauging interest.

But the 9780 was released a year later, not a few weeks after launch.

This is what the Keyone should have come with, along with a 4000 instead of a 3505 battery and 835 processor.

Thats why Canada is not on priority list! At least TCL exploring new markets for BlackBerry which BlackBerry forget on world map! A sold device is earned money, region doesn't matter

This just put me off from getting a KEYᵒⁿᵉ until this gets ironed out. This could have a big impact on sales. That was really stupid of them to let this leak.
