I live just outside of Philly and have a son interested in Penn State. So we drove out to visit. It's approximately 200 miles out to the center of the state through sparsely populated areas of PA. I was curious to see how my reception would be so I checked periodically. I never lost a signal. Went down to 1 bar at one point, but never went to zero. Coming home we took a different route. Same answer - never lost coverage.

I feel pretty good about this.

I live near the Maryland PA border and many of the areas where coverage would drop with CDMA it stays strong and clear with just LTE.

There are a few places in the bends of the mountains where the signal dies, but it picks up again much more quickly than CDMA or GSM ever did, and these are also areas where nothing gets a signal so I don't feel too bad about it at all.
