Mine seems bright enough.
In broad daylight, it has been suggested that turning auto brightness on cranks it up even higher.
auto for me is enough, usually between 50 and 60...
I'm comming from a s8 and it's a big difference between them, more dim like you say on key2 le, not so spectacular colors and don't have that deeper blacks, but...actually it's really relax for my eyes...I have qled on my computer, and amoled on the s8, during months I've been with this high brightness on my eyes I can say that is everything less healthy... now I'm really happy with my ips low brightness screen...lol...btw amoled it's even worst under sunlight.G.
Not sure if it's been proven that OLED is worst for your eyes than LCD, but I'd suggest leaving the phone in night mode 24/7, which is what I do. Trust me your eyes will get used to the yellower tint and if you ever turn it off you'll immediately wonder how people do when they don't have night mode On.
Yes, thats what I did always with s8, but I don't have that feeling of burned eyes with this ips screen...i feel very comfortable and only turn on night mode when I'm in the bed previous to sleep...
