I hold myself personally responsible for this, actually. I've been dropping comments on Instagram posts, Twitter, Crackberry... basically everywhere since after the Passport came out. Whenever they'd ask "What would make you buy such-and-such phone?" I'd reply with "Does it come in red?".

I'm glad to see that all my efforts didn't go to waste, and I don't even care if this turns out to be made of plastic, or what. I loved my red Q5, just like I loved my red Q10 and Z10, and my red Passport is still the greatest phone I've ever owned. I use a black KeyOne now, but inside I secretly resent it, and wish it was a red Passport.

I've also promised the missus that I won't be buying any new phones in the foreseeable future, as the 4GB/64GB black KeyOne is more than enough phone for me, and it didn't seem like fun colours were going to be a BlackBerry thing going forward. This changes things, and I might need to make some tough choices when and if this phone becomes a reality.

At the very least I'll probably have a lovingly cared for black 4GB/64GB KeyOne for sale, hopefully for around what the Key2 Lite goes for.

But let's see if we can't drum up some more excitement for the best colour, so they don't think people only want black and blue!

But I still dream of the regular Key2. The capacitive keyboard and the +500 mAh are a plus.

I actually cheated and bought the parts online to convert my Z10...

And my Q10, actually. I don't have that phone anymore and I would love to be able to find the red parts again, get a cheap broken Q10 on ebay, and add it to a shadow-box with my red Z10, red Q5, and red Passport.

Basically, I don't know if I'm going to be able to stop myself getting another red Blackberry, which sucks because I just spent a bunch of money on a laptop...

Maybe the 636 does even more wonders than the 625, battery wise.
