    What is the app that shows a sideways Z or N (double /\) in the status bar. I would like to remove it like I did tumbler app and several other ones.

    I didn't realize nfc was on; turned off and the symbol is gone. Unsafe for it to be enabled out and about

    I have inadvertently turned nfc on and was puzzled by that symbol. I am trying to be more careful.

    Yeah, because when all those hackers are crowding around you to get within a foot of the chip, it would be hard to walk around... right?
