I checked to see what Amazon has in the way of KEY2 devices. Besides the usual 3rd party sales I found the attached. (US Amazon) They will have KEY2 LE in stock on Sept. 29. It qualifies for Amazon Prime. This might also be a 3rd party, but it is fulfilled by Amazon, and it qualifies for an Amazon feature of set up support (in a drop down).

I kept seeing such fake restocking dates since June, and nothing came in.

It is most likely an automated restocking system without any substantial meaning.
Don't hold your breath. Amazon pushed my Key2 Red order four times along three months, and they finally cancelled it.

I'm pretty sure this is the India version. Several months ago I saw the same worded ad, different supplier but fulfilled by Amazon. I ordered it and it turned out to be the India version with a different version #. I sent it back.
My advice is to contact the supplier and confirm. In this case it really is buyer beware.

If they come it will be smaller quantity almost certain. Amazon does have phantom restocking dates if the OEM doesn’t change status to discontinued.

Got my le on the way from gotalk wireless... I know 499 is steep and they only offer slate but man I think I may have snagged my last Blackberry keyboard device the way things are going. Sad. I was hoping the TCL thing would pan out. Does anyone think TCL released the LE to qualify as the 3rd key phone in contract everyone keeps talking about?

If your replying to my post so did the posting on Amazon from which I ordered my second Key²LE. The phone I received was the India version. I called the seller and they admitted they couldn't get the phone that was listed. They blamed it on Amazon. I returned it.
So my advice is call the seller and double check the model number. It won't hurt.

Third-party resellers aren't always as diligent with that kind of stuff as first-party sellers are.

This is probably the only remotely "positive" thing about BBMo since the Red Edition hit US retailers back in March.

I'd be curious about the build date of those units on GoTalk USA

Edit: They seem to also have the KEY2 in stock, but are selling it for $679 which is MORE than over a year ago when it first launched. The LE is at $499 when I'm pretty sure that variant launched at $449 almost a year ago.
