I'm interested in getting a dual-sim LE, but it's listed as having only 4GB RAM. Anybody experience frequently running low on memory?

The 6GB on the non-LE Key2 seems perfect, been using the phone for months without any issues. But even with battery saver on, and preventing most apps from automatically turning on, and frequently using "clear all" open apps - my memory usage is usually in the 3 to 3.5 GB range.

Here is one shot. Usually is like that, and if you add the browser it can be on 85 more or less cause browser is an absolute memory sucker. Even with that, for me it works flawlessly and it depends of the use of each one of course. KEY2 LE at 4GB RAM-screenshot_20181107-132756.jpeg

4gb and/or Oreo make a massive difference over the 3gb K1 on Nougat. Unfortunately I never got Oreo on K1 because of VZW/TCL issues so I can't give you apples-to-apples so to speak.

Thank you for the info. Sounds like the smaller 4 GB RAM is not a huge issue with normal usage. With the non-LE version of Key2, I sometimes (not often) would go over 4GB of memory used, but maybe the smaller processor for LE uses less memory.

Any other LE users out there with input?

I probably would go ahead and switch to the dual-sim, as it's been a drag carrying around 2 phones for the past few years.

I just ran into a low memory notification from my power center, this happened because the LE runs so smoothly when I'm multi-tasking I hadn't closed a single app until now.

Closed a few apps and went through my apps and disabled or uninstalled unused apps. Sitting at 65% as of now.

Android uses all the memory it can.... if you had 8GB it would show most of it being used.

At this point I expect that 4GB for the LE is just fine, clearly the 3GB wasn't really enough for what BlackBerry is doing (other OEMs don't have issues with 3GB)

I disabled the power center app, don't find it useful
