Here is the August patch for the LE.

As usual, this is NOT for Indian devices or Verizon-branded (PRDs 65005-005 and -006) devices. Also, this will not work on any of the new EU variants that have a PRD ending in -5xx. Sorry, but only the common signatures are available.

Remove device PIN/password, boot to bootloader screen, and run either flashall or flashallnowipe as per your preference.

hi, i successfully ran the update using linux, by replacing the adb and fastboot binaries with the ones from my system/android-tools. my phone now shows patch level acb168. however:

two files were not found during the update:
error: cannot load './img/NON-HLOS.bin': No such file or directory
error: cannot load './img/oem.img': No such file or directory

..i've seen suggestions of replacing oem.img with oem_common.img ...can you explain why this is necessary?
also, should i apply the same logic to NON-HLOS.bin? if so, which one of the options applies to me (in canada)?
    ./img/NON-HLOS-global.bin
    ./img/NON-HLOS-dsglobal.bin
    ./img/NON-HLOS-dscn.bin
    ./img/NON-HLOS-dsamericas.bin
    ./img/NON-HLOS-americas.bin

a brief explanation of the differences would be appreciated!

    cheers!

ps: i would like to suggest removing the aforementioned utilities from the autoloader package, as it is not a safe practice to distribute binary executables. the ones that are included are for x86 anyhow, and the majority of systems these days are (pure?) 64-bit. you should simply link to the required system utils typically found in /usr/bin

The PC batch files do all of the right things, so there are no issues there.

    Yes, use oem-common.

The non-hlos files are the modem software. Use the americas or dsamericas in your case depending on which one you have.

ah, i tried the other one first and got no-service. i've always wondered where that second sim slot is....

can you also tell me what gets flashed to the oem slot? ie: whats contained in oem-common?

    thanks

    BBE100-2 is single-sim, and BBE100-5 is dual-sim.

Oem.bin contains some TCL-specific stuff (calculator, sound recorder, carrier apps, device switch, etc).
