I am using a Motion right now. And with the latest Android 8.1 update, it has gotten even smoother. I have never noticed any slow downs even with the SD625 and 4Gb of ram.

When I had my Keyone silver edition, it became so laggy that I had to get rid of it, (even laggier than dtek50 or Priv). The general consensus seems that BlackBerries with physical keyboards must run extra background processes for the pkb, which results in the phone being slower than a vkb BlackBerry like a Motion.

I would like to try a Key 2 LE when the price comes down, but I am not sure if it is going to be as smooth as my Motion. What are your experiences with the Key2 LE so far?

K1 Silver has 1 gb less RAM, hence it being laggy at times. The K1 black 4gb models are better and made a serious improvement some apps like Android Auto.

The KEYone is probably slower because it has only 3 gb's of RAM.

Doubt the PKB has anything to do with speed.
