    Greetings,

A member of my family just purchased a Key2 LE, model BBE100-5. So far he has not been able to get wifi calling to work on T-Mobile (US). Have heard that the Key2 LE supports WFC but don't know about this model. Can anyone verify that this model does or does not support WFC on T-Mobile? If not, which model does support WFC and who sells it? Thank you in advance.

Support For Major Carrier And MVNO LTE Bands

The major wireless carriers and their respective MVNO’s use the LTE bands shown below. You can easily see which providers the BlackBerry Key2 LE BBE100-5 may be compatible with. The more bands that match up, the more compatible the phone will be with that network.

Keep in mind, even though your phone may appear to be compatible with Sprint or Verizon it still may not work on either of those networks. Sprint and Verizon must whitelist and approve your device for use on their networks. If the device is not whitelisted, it cannot be used. Sprint and Verizon compatible phones must also support CDMA networks described above, under the 2G/3G Bands header.
    AT&T And AT&T MVNO Support

AT&T’s main LTE band is band 12, although band 17 can serve as a substitute for band 12. If your phone does not at least support this band, your chances of successfully using it on AT&T or an AT&T MVNO are low.

Thanks for confirming that you are experiencing the same issue. Assuming that you have the same model, BBE100-5.

Does anyone else have any insight into this matter? Is there a non-extreme workaround? Or another model which is known to work?

Here’s the good news and the bad news. T-Mobile is the uncarrier and is support to fully support BYOD yet I don’t think so. T-Mobile supports BYOD WFC better than most carriers.

Unfortunately, I’ve learned this is on postpaid T-Mobile and WFC isn’t supported as we’ll prepaid or MVNO on all non T-Mobile devices

The only way to get WiFi calling with T-Mobile to work on the Key2LE is to install the T-Mobile Digit App from the Google Play Store.

If you have a post paid account T-Mobile Digits works exceptional and enables Wi-Fi calling. (I use it on my BE Blackberry KeyOne
