Looks navy blue more than anything else. Definitely not Cobalt like the Classic.

I just hope the parts match nicely. If the keys and most of the trim are of a consistent blue with the rest being silver then that would be cool.

This article refers to 2GB RAM on the LE. Is this a typo? I thought it was to be 4GB.

Back in my day we had 128mb of ram! And no touchscreens! And our phones were made in Finland out of stainless steel! And we were happy to pay $600 unlocked in 2010 for it! Seriously though, 2gb of ram is a budget device in 2018. I'm talking moto E, nokia 1 or 2, Blu low end ect.

My P'9983 has 2GB of RAM and retailed for over $2K less than four years ago! No, I didn't buy mine new, but I still love it despite having owned the KEYone, Priv, Passport...

Yeah using a Porsche design phone is kind of cheating. It would be like me comparing the price of the E6 and the Vertu constellation at 10k$.

since you're asking, I get the feeling you're dying to tell us how to swap out non-removable batteries, n'est pas?

Well, THAT would be interesting to know. But this is assuming that ALL parts related to the battery in the phone are exactly the same, and the shape and size of the frame is the same, and that the LE has enough space and dimensions to fit in the KEY2's battery...

    ... I wouldn't hold my breath lol

Non-removable batteries are rarely actually non-removable. Just watch JerryRigEverything videos. The "non-renewable" batteries are usually either screwed in (easy to unscrew) or lightly glued down (easy to unglue with a heat gun or even a blowdryer). A truly non-renewable battery would make it impossible for OEMs to repair/refurbish phones.

But putting a different phone's battery in is another story and probably a very bad idea.

I'm sure by non removable they mean non-user replaceable. And that means you can't swap them out without tools and without disassembling the device. Unfortunately the days of quick swaps are long over, but with the awesome battery life of BBMo's devices, I could live with that.

Yes, that's more accurate. It's not as easy as popping off the back and pulling the battery like the Bold, but with a screwdriver and maybe a heat gun it's definitely doable. Most phones still let you pop off the back pretty easily.

I had an older Android that overheated a lot so when I went to replace the battery there wasn't any adhesive left. I've heard the Priv is similar.

Nothing a Dremel and some duct tape couldn't fix.

Alternately, if the Key2 battery won't fit in the Key2LE, maybe the K2LE body could be swapped onto the Key2...

Would you really try that kind of DIY project when you spent like $650 on a KEY2 and $500 on an LE?
