But are we even surprised at this point...

I think Amazon will be the only retailer in the US for the KEY3
If there were going to be a KEY3, BlackBerry Mobile would be responding to these messages of concern. Best to try to find a KEY2 or KEY2LE or look at other devices that might support a keyboard attachment. Think everyone on this site will be forced to look at other brands soon.

Sure I expect a Key3 or the Key4 and Key5 would be extremely awkward..
They could do like Apple and just release the Key3 and Key5 at the same time, and skip the Key4.

Actually Key8 since 8 is a lucky number for the Chinese. Which is also why they'll stick with Android 8 as well. lol.

If reading the calendar properly, I believe 2020 is the year of the mobile device or phone depending on translation dialect.

As long as it’s all understood as tongue in cheek good natured fun. If she’s not laughing, I’m deep in trouble.

No he has been gone for a while now.... And so far they haven't filled his position, so not sure there is an executive overseeing that department anymore.

I think the new executive Bryan Palma has that line of business. That being said it's a smaller aspect of the business than people expected.

Hopefully he can do something on his end to continue the BlackBerry keyboard devices are still in play for 2020 and more.

Mid-June 2019, I purchased an unlocked Key2LE dual SIM at Best Buy. According to website, they did not have any. But, when I went to shop for something to replace my Z30 and mentioned how disappointed I was they didn't have any BlackBerry phones, one of the employees said oh yes we do, there's a couple in supply under the desk - if you don't mind red. As we were setting it up, a few employees thought the phone was cool and complimented it. I'm frustrated with it - learning curve and lack of support. I am running SIM cards for both Verizon and AT&T since where I live in mountains, you get one or other. I think the other one would still be at the store since they don't even know they have it to sell. BTW, I was replacing Z30 since power on/off button was failing on a Continuous basis. Sometimes couldn't get phone to turn on for 50 pushes. I took out it's Verizon SIM card to put in new phone but continue to use Z30 for calendar (that wouldn't transfer to new phone), password keeper, etc... funny thing is, as long as Verizon SIM card is out, the power button has never failed...? Is that a Version SOP tactic???
