That is an issue can't even reply..if I try to reply INBOX screen blanks out and get taken back to HUB.
same issue when replying to certain emails!
it happens in the AOL app and Hub Inbox but not AOL when sign-up online. and only w certain company's emails! odd!
At least we're past the original "Poof Diapers" issue either way
It happened again to me today after not occurring for the past week.
It seems to happen only when I'm replying to a certain person. Also I was replying to a forwarded mailchimp email. Not sure if it's related.
There was a large update of Hub-related applications yesterday that I downloaded. Did you see that as well? Wondering if it fixed your problem if so. I have the same issue : For me it is PDAPlaza related emails that cause me grief.
I have the same problem, it only happens when I reply emails from the hub while I’m using my hotmail account, it’s impossible to reply to anything!
It’s driving me crazy, this is terrible, I really don’t know what to do?
Most of the time it doesn’t let me type one single word and it goes blank, whatever I’ve written disappears and the email goes to draft, so I start again and same thing over and over again, I just can’t reply to one single email that I get on my hotmail account from the hub.
I’ve been a loyal customer of BlackBerry all my life, but this BlackBerry key2 is terrible, if I want to reply to any emails I have to get my BlackBerry classic (ironic that I bought the key2 to upgrade from the classic but here I am, still having to use the classic.)
Where can I find the update for the hub please? Thanks (l just can’t reply to any emails that I get in the hub on the hotmail account, that’s when it always happens, everything goes blank, whatever few words that I’ve managed to type disappear and it goes straight to draft. It doesn’t matter how many times I try to reply, it’s impossible. Drives me crazy!) I have to keep using my BlackBerry classic, ironic!
Hi, the only “solution” that I’ve found so far, it to always reply to the first email that I’ve received, as opposed to replying to the last email of the thread.
The very same thing happened to me today, I thought I was going NUTS! . I was typing up a new email to a windows 365 work account. Ended up using my desktop pc ..frustrating
Yes happened to myself as well. Its sad to find replacement apps for the BlackBerry ones. They really did a good job on design and user interface. Tried using one note instead of notes so I could see them on computer but wow is that a poor app compared to BlackBerry Notes. Trying bluemail now and it seem ok. I hate gmail.
Maybe the contacts app will still be ok for a while.

Just see there is another update so might try again to use it. Will see if others comment and a fix.

Although I have a KEYone BE, I also faced the same issue a few weeks ago, when trying to forward a long email I got from a work colleague. (AFAIK both KEYs are running on Oreo, so we seem to share the issue).
I've downloaded today's updates ando will also be on the lookout if the issue persists.
This is still happening to me even with yesterday's updates. Again it only happens when I'm replying to a forwarded mailchimp email. Not in any other circumstance as far as I can tell.
This could happen when replying to certain email messages with inline images mixed with HTML content.
When replying to an email message that does this, tap the 3 dots on the top right then tap Delete Original Text.
This will stop the message from closing and going back to the hub.
Hopefully this bug can be fixed on the next update.
Thanks for that information, I will try deleting the Original message, hope it works, it drives me crazy, so frustrating.
If I can’t reply to emails properly, then I have no use for the BlackBerry key2, sad, disappointing.
No issue on my k2 (if helps... I'm with ACM438 which is the latest available OTA update for my device)
