I'm using the Niagara launcher. I find the verticality of it to be a perfect match for the KEY2's smaller display and the keyboard scrolling feature. It's a very slick launcher and will, hopefully, only get better as it nears final release.

What non-BB launchers are others using?

I have tried Niagara. Aesthetically very nice, but I miss the KB shortcuts from home screen, as well as some of the more traditional elements.

Currently have my convenience key set to KISS launcher as my device search app. I've considered making it my main launcher except for the aforementioned hangups.

What Bible app is that? I really like And Bible because of the large library of bibles, commentaries, dictionaries, etc.

I'll have to check out KISS. Thanks for that.

It's the Youversion Bible app. My wife and I use it for the reading plans and many free audio versions.

Wow! This is amazing...it has full home screen notification access with in-line reply which reminds me of the BB10 Hub experience!

Is home screen app selection scrolling work on the capacitive keypad?

Yes, scrolling with the keyboard works.

The way it handles media playback notifications is cool, too. Places an actionable notification right at the top of the favorites list.

And you can swipe right on apps with notifications to see a popup preview of the full message.

I use the JW library App for reading the bible. A very good translation in my opinion.

KISS launcher works well with the keyboard... you can type to search apps, contacts, messages. Super fast, lightweight. Open-source and on F-Droid as well as Google Play.

+1 for the Youversion Bible app. very good and you can seemlessly switch between different translations.

It hurts my brain to search for THAT app icon and my mind stresses sometimes past a threshold, so I prefer command line. Much easier, and with contextual suggestions as I type. Also supports many Linux commands from ls to grep, awk and sed.

That's a pretty cool launcher. Don't know if I could use it everyday but I may write an article about it. Thanks for the heads up!

I use the Mormon LDS gospel library app basically because it has the King James version of the Bible and supports copy and paste so you can prepare sermons etc.

And I did test the JW Library and had to ask a JW friend I wanted the pair of sermon with it but it was only with inside the notes on JW Library if you could use anything with gospel library.

Unfortunately the same was true from most of the scripture apps that I've ever looked at no copy and paste
