    When it's in my pocket it sometimes goes my alerts are going max loud.
    When the screen is off the volume buttons not working, but if I press power button and the screen is on but lock the volume buttons work.
    Is it possible to turn off the volume buttons when the screen is locked?

    I think it's how modern phones are. If your phone does wake up in your by pressing the power button, then there aren't many options.

    You can try button mapper app that have some options around volume buttons, pocket mode and also screen off. https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ar2.homebutton
