All and especially to B Malo's last post here:

I just posed about buying a key2 LE on the other thread. I own a super tiny palm phone as an extension of my main number on Verizon and I can assure you it's CDMA-less (LTE only)!! As such when I get my key2 LE tomorrow I will only start with that SIM card from that palm phone to get going. I just also ordered the regular Key2 now and will wait til it comes in and then once I get the Key2 LE going I'll swap the SIM into the Key2 and advise how it goes!

EDIT: I *NEED* to know from those of you who got it working which model Key2 you have? Money is no issue for me but I went to order the BBF100-6 model and I see BBF100-2 as well??? Which should I buy based on those who got it working?

    Over n out for now!

Looks like the BBF100-2 us the "US model" but the -6 model is the same but has more 2G GSM fallback support??? See here: https://www.phonemore.com/compare/ph...f100-6/8202650

    Maybe either would work??

EDIT: sorry, watching kids, trying to buy stuff and be educated on what I'm buying... -6 appears to be global VS -2 is the US model.

Let me know what you think and I'll buy based on opinions!

Okay. BBE100-5 Key2 LE came in just now. I'm gonna head over to Verizon after a meeting later today to get it going. Once I confirm it's working I'm going to order the regular Key2 and swap SIMS and return the Key2 LE.... At least that's the plan!

    Over n out for now!

Okay, Key2 LE working flawlessly now! When I put the SIM in it did the same thing as everyone else was saying. Could make/receive calls and could send texts but could not receive texts.

The in store rep had no clue about different SIM cards. As such the one I had was the same as all the other ones so a SIM change wasn't needed. He couldn't use SFO code 83856 either. I had to call their 800 number and as soon as they put SFO code 83856 in on my line all the text messages just poured in!

For now I'm going to hold off on buying the Key2 becauase this phone is already much better than the KeyONE just from the little use I've put on it. The only main concern is the decreased battery capacity but I'll know more by the end of the week if that will be a true issue based on my business usage! If it is then it'll get returned after I get a Key2 and confirm getting it going first.

With Verizon officially supporting the Key2 LE and *NOT* the regular Key2 I don't want to take a gamble on long term compatibility because knowing my luck I'll be out of town and it could goof up or something and I don't have time for that!!

Case closed for now!!! Anyone want to buy my Verizon CDMA KeyONE???? LOL

You might consider hanging on to the LE as a back up in case the Key2 goes wonky on Verizon.

    Just my 2 pesos.....

Seems like an expensive way to have a backup. So far the LE is working for me for my work but I'm NOT happy about Pandora not being available. I have emailed them as well and will also call them today.

    Thanks!

Wow! I hadn't realized Pandora wasn't available on the LE. I never used it much, so when I switched from PRIV to the LE, I never noticed the app disappeared. Doesn't even show up in the play store from the LE now. I always thought an Android app is an Android app. Regardless of the particular model phone. Strange???

Almost end of day update. No way I'm keeping this Key2 LE simply due to the poor battery life. At only 4:50PM I'm already down to 45%. Won't be able to make it into the late evening at this rate.

I'm going to be buying the regular Key2 (BBF100-6) and once it comes in and I verify it works I'll be returning the Key2 LE.

Doesnt tell me if I tap on it!! all I know is that my KeyONE didn't have this issue... the battery is 15% larger. I usually get down to 20 % by 11PM or so. By 1AM it'll be dead. So maybe that 500mah is all I need to make it lol

Well I have to say the only thing that stands out to me there is blackberry launcher. Not sure why it's eating 9%. That doesn't even show up on my list as using any battery. Also did you make sure to click on those 3 dots at the top right corner and choose show full device usage? What brightness level do you have your screen set to all day? Are you usually on wifi or cellular?

Yeah BB launcher is acting up.

Go in that app's settings and clear the cache and then force stop it.

Reboot the phone and see if that helps

(FYI I've been on my little palm phone all evening so that's why it's not dead yet). I still have 2+ hours of phone calls to make still later tonight too.

So I have an update for those who are waiting for the Key2 to work on Verizon (at least officially). I spoke with VZW business telesales today because I have been waiting for them to launch the Key2 LE per the announcement at MWC. To my surprise, I was told (by a rep who was reading an internal doc) that BOTH the Key2 and the Key2 LE will be available for pre-order via business telesales on June 29 and will be available to purchase on July 13. He didn't have any info about pricing or anything else.

He did confirm that right now only the Key2 LE is whitelisted as BYOD eligible. But it appears likely that the Key2 will eventually be whitelisted as well (I'm saying this under the assumption that for Verizon themselves to sell it means that it is a whitelisted model). I am not going to wait until July so I am moving forward buying a Key2 LE on Amazon this week but I thought people would appreciate this update.

Pandora works perfectly fine on my Key2 LE. I'm betting it's your Sim provisions or something. I use Pandora Premium all day everyday.
