    Just received a Silver from Staples.ca and the IMS settings are not connected so no VoLTE. Others here have reported HD voice is working on Telus and Bell. Rogers is still not playing nice with BYOD.

    I believe they have to whitelist the device in their system. Someone hasn’t done their job!

    The device supports it but Rogers isn't allowing it with byod. WiFi calling even their own devices isn't working.

    Mine is connected but no actual HD in the call screen so I don't think the Connected means anything

    Did you try tapping on IMS settings? It should take you to a menu where there is a toggle to switch on Voice over LTE.

    That's bizarre. In the past when it wasn't supported for me on Telus, those menus didn't even exist. If it's enabled and on, it should be working. Call tech support, hopefully they can help you troubleshoot what's causing the issue.

    ...interestingly when on a call the status bar says LTE when it would drop down to 4G if VoLTE if the IMS toggle is turned off. This would seem to indicate that VoLTE is working but the "HD" simply isn't appearing on the phone's call screen. Maybe the Silver is connected as it says it is in the settings but just not displaying the HD.

    Is LTE displayed on notification bar mean VoLTE is active? So when I actually make a call, it shows 4G. I'm confused!

    If it shows 4g during a call then volte is not active assuming it ordinarily displays lte for data.

    Yup, just spent over an hour with tech support. Not offered and no news about offering it. For all of us who need it and are complaining about it. Let's all call and threaten to leave Rogers! I have done my part today! If we apply pressure and all BYOD people speak up, they will be forced to change like BELL and Telus! Who's with me?!? Please share this BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) with other forums and ask them to also canvass Rogers with complaints. Cheers,
