    Yes, using Night mode - you can turn the back light off completely. Downside is the screen is now redish...

    Same for making it brighter.

    Display settings second one down sadly there is no facility to change keyboard settings for brighter or dimmer backlight on the pkb

    Yes there is, also in Night mode. You can make the backlight brighter, or turn it off completely.

    Night mode does it as I only need in a dark room so I won't disturb my wife sleeping.

    From what I've heard the majority of Keyone owners have been upgraded excepting some PRD's on oddball carriers.
