So I outlined how I think I found the perfect key 2 case for my phone and I really do love it but I am finding myself keeping the case off a lot at home now lol. I saw a video of the stress test for the key 2 and even when the guy was scratching the body of the key 2 I didn't see any black paint at the bottom leading me to believe that you really have to damage it to see any real damage. I may consider just getting a key ring. This always happens to me with cases lol. Why do I have the feeling I am going to regret this!?

Bob, I agree, however. I have had the OEM K2 BlackBerry flip case for the last 5-6 months, has been on the phone for a grand total of 2 hours! Naked! Is the only way I like her!

Yes I agree... I prefer my women naked!!! 😁 But my BlackBerry KEY2 is in an OEM BlackBerry Soft Shell Case... 👍

Same here. I usually have a soft shell case on my K2 but take it off while in an office environment. Outdoors taking photos etc, the case goes back on.

Yeah I am finding since posting this I am wearing the case less and less. After watching Crackberry Kevin's drop test and Jerry rings everything this device clearly can take minor drops and falls. In that Jerry rigs every thing video he was really going out of his way OT damage the phone and it still comes out looking decent. He wasn't even able to get any black paint to show when he scratched up the phone hard.

I think the most important thing to have on the phone is the screen protector. I think I am going to get a key ring. If I know I am ever going anywhere where the phone can truly have a chance of being damaged I will wear the case. I am just loving this phone too much without the case. I really need to stop wasting my money on cases lol

I think that's a good trade off. When you are out and about slap the case on but as soon as you are at work just rock it naked think I will be taking a similar approach!

I was carrying my phone in a vertical type belt case but twice the case ended up upside down and the phone fell out onto concrete. No significant damage, just minor nicks where it hit. I don't use that case anymore and because I find the phone to be somewhat slippery I am thinking of getting a soft case. I will probably drop it at some point so the protection would be good to have.

I have a transparent case and although it's very minimalistic it still messes up the product design. I will leave it on for the time being but the nice premium feel of the Key2 is a bit lost now. dilemmas 😁
