When I upgraded Lookout tonight, I got an ad for AT&T Mobile Security. The basic version is free, while the pro version is by subscription at $4/month.

Anyone have any advice on installing basic or not on Key2? We have AT&T Service.

Looks like a waste of money to me unless you want the additional call features, some of which you can already do w/o their app. I'd want to know who is actually powering their VPN service as well before I ever 'trusted' it. The unsafe apps thing is covered by Lookout already as well a BlackBerry DTEK, same with their OS tampering thing, which isn't as deeply integrated as DTEK already is, so that's pointless. Yep, while I haven't used it, based on the available info its pretty close to taking $4 out of your pocket each month and burning it.
