Please keep in mind, I just installed it; the bubbles and liquid and haziness will continue to clear up.

It looks nice but I wonder though, given that people say that the screen isn't bright and you went for the mate version, can the screen be even dimmer for you? hope not...

Yes. How does it affect the screen? How big of a pia is install?

I have found the matte helps with light as there is no smudge (fingerprints) or glossy reflection to overcome, especially outdoors.

it's a wet install - so as long as you are in a low particulate environment the install is easy - just get it line up, squeeze out some of the liquid, THEN LET IT SIT lol. (hardest part for me).

the feel now that it is dry is great - I may be replacing for a mushy spacebar issue, but I am 100% putting a skinomi matte skin on the next one too asap.

Had skinomi on my PRIV & Keyone and highly recommend them. Waiting on the Amazon stock for the Key2 which is a month!
