    I'm trying to save a shortcut on my desktop for this URL: http://lotterypost.com/results/az

    The problem is, whenever I press "Add to Home screen" it saves a link to "m.lotterypost.com" on my screen.

    How can I get a shortcut to "http://lotterypost.com/results/az" on my screen?

    Use desktop mode in Chrome.

    Hi Conite... I tried this by pressing "Desktop site", but it still adds the mobile link (m.lotterypost.com) to my screen.

    Have you been able to get the non-mobile link to that lottery website to your screen? I can't do it on my end. Is there a way to edit the desktop shortcuts so we can manually edit the destination URL?

    But the mobile site is the one WebView opens anyway - regardless of the url.

    Are you saying the shortcut doesn't open the page you want, or it doesn't display the label you want?
    If the latter, long press the icon and tap the pencil.

    I mean it won't open the page that I want. It keeps redirecting to the mobile site.

    That's what WebView does regardless of the URL.
