Would you prefer to be on the VZW schedule? LOL

What?! I thought unlocked phones are kept the most up to date since they don't have to wait for clearance from the carrier. How is mine behind Rogers? Damn.

I'm running ABK892 through autoloader. I guess its unlikely that I'll see an OTA update for this one.
Does this ABK892 have IMS Connected? I have an unlocked KEY2 and my IMS is not connected. Would this fix it?

I would never buy an unlocked phone. Rogers is generally ahead of the unlocked phone.

Oh I would buy from them if I were still with them. I can no longer afford their ridiculous prices.

Why are we pushing for WiFi calling and Volte? Well, it's simple, my home office is in the basement, 1-0 bars reception, which means no calls in or out! Yes, we need WiFi calling and Volte for our non carrier phones too! The CRTC had better get involved, the more of our complaints they here the better. So please, let's stop ******** and start contacting the CRTC! Cheers,

I’m here in USA, but similar complaint with AT&T, however, what’s the actual violation to complain about? The device service level meet the regulatory definition in place. Alternative devices are sold to meet the demand or need. I don’t think I’m entitled to PKB even here...

Here in Canada Chuck, the CRTC is the governing body for telecommunications. They have kept our big 3 in check and ruled against them several times. In fact, it was a CRTC ruling that opened the door to BYOD, before that, you could not. Now, part II, equal access for at least premium plans! We hold our companies to account with more of a social consciousness than your countries full throttle capitalism I suppose. Cheers,

Release is supposed to be ABM374, which I installed using non-wipe method auto-loader method. Lost WiFi calling feature (option not even shown in menu and grey out if accessed via engineering code method). Maybe reason Rogers has not released its version yet.
    ps. same issue with ABM578
Fyi. Phone is Black Key2 purchased from Rogers. Have had WiFi calling since last summer.

Guess I will wait to upgrade then. I need wifi calling. Too bad. I just don't get whey some times it is included in a build and sometimes it is not.

    Thanks for the update.

It seems as though Rogers really doesn't want to give WiFi calling to they KEY2. As I've been using it with them via other variants of autoloaders since I bout my phone in September, it clearly isn't an issue with it not working with their network.

So, I guess I'll be sticking it out with ABK892 for now.

Yep. I feel the same way. Never any issues with wifi calling on ABK892. So why hold it back. I am sticking with ABK892 for now as well. At least since it is not in their upgrade path, I won't be getting pestered with notifications of an update being available.

for T-mobile, if you change your ECID to 450, wifi calling becomes available. If anyone wants instructions and is running on T-mo USA, let me know.

Is there a similar workaround for Rogers? I may be willing to try.
