    Hi All,

I've been using the Key2 for over a year, but the space bar is intermittent. I ordered a replacement keyboard -- the disassembly videos look like this would be fairly easy. Has anyone attempted this fix? Any advice - is it easy to do?

its not easy but not very hard, take your time. Use plastic tools to un-plug cables. Be very careful when removing battery ( you may want to change it now) look twice before you make a move. Have a clean well lit area. DO NOT RUSH.

@mralgi has taken his KEY2 apart back at launch in 2018.

I believe there are tutorials online on how to replace it

I've found the disassembly videos, but nothing specific to the keyboard, but it looks like it will be strait forward. Has anyone had their keyboard replaced, or done it themselves?

    I've replaced the KEYone's, not the KEY2's.

It was suggested by mralgi to start from the rear of the phone.

You do not have to remove the screen or the battery to get it done.

    Hello,

I have replaced it before. As already described, it is easy.

This is the thread started by mralgi. I posted a how-to and photos on how to do this swap.

I found it easier to pull the battery at this time for replacement
