I'm desperate for a Key2 and found one pristine condition refurbished for £300 (no charger or box). Of course though it won't have manufacturer warranty any more - is it worth it or should I just splash the cash and get a new one in case of any manufacturer issues?

Could be a roll of the dice getting a device for that cheap. Does the seller have a good rating? It would be hard for me to not pull the trigger at that low of a price.

Yes, it's not from an individual seller but from a large refurbed laptop/mobile online store in the UK. So I would say in general I trust it... only problem is that their retailer warranty is only 90 days on refurbished products.

You're right, the price is almost too good to be true, they sell new Key2 phones at £469 so it's quite the discount. £300 for that phone seems like an incredible deal but I'm hesitant to take the risk!

maybe get it and take out insurance to cover any potential issues...

I take it credit card or contract are not an option to spread the cost of a new device?

I mean I could pay it off over a longer period, I just generally don't like doing so. If you just pay it over a longer time you're fooling yourself that you're not spending as much as you really are...

I sold mine for £220 with a couple months warranty, box, charger and brand new headphones.

    £300 is still pretty cheap
