When I try to download WhatsApp and some other apps onto my device I'm getting an error code and a message saying the app isn't compatible with the device.

I hope you find a good solution!

It's Android. The only thing you cannot do is root the device or 'hack' the device, but every Android app should work, especially apps like that. Other than the security, it's practically vanilla Android.

I wouldn't try and download whatsapp, not even to test. KEY2 is on Oreo though. I doubt it, but maybe that has something to do with it.

I bet there are way many more people here with better answers who use that app. Oreo was just the first thing that popped into my pea brain. It's been out (oreo) for too long for that to be the reason. Haha! Thinking too much.

    ;-)

Definitely the best way. It will be the one that works with whatever version of Android one has.
