Nope.. same battery life as before the update here. Did you do an OTA or update some other way? Sounds like something funky going on.

I've had bad battery life as well with AB1067 like my phone would barely make it through the day and I had to charge it daily.

After upgrading to the November patch ABJ755 my battery life is back to what it was when I first bought the phone and my apps/usage hasn't changed I can make it for 2 days without recharging and I do play music on my phone for 1 hour daily + regular chats on Whatsapp + 30 minutes of Google Maps + my regular calls.

Use to take p!ss out of my iPhone mates for poo battery and now mine barely keeps up!!!!

No issues with diminished battery life since upgrading OTA to ABI067.

Battery life is just as freakin amazing before the update.

Today being Thanksgiving, I've been on my KEY2 nonstop. Voice calls, texting, sending/receiving pictures with MMS, BBM, WhatsApp. Occasionally email, web browsing, visiting various Forums like CrackBerry, etc.

I just happened to check my SOT as my battery was at 53%. I'm at 4 hours of SOT and it wasn't a struggle on my KEY2 running ABI067. See screen shot below...

I experienced significant impact to battery life w said update.
seems to have gotten a bit better w time, but still not as good as it was when I got the phone.
hoping next update fixes the issue.

Try clearing the cache for Google Play Services and BB Hub+ Services and then hold the power button for 30 seconds and see if that helps with battery life

I agree with the title of the thread, the battery has got worse but the telephone reception has improved and frankly I prefer it that way

Better reception also plays a role in improving battery life as the phone doesn't have to work as hard to get signal

In my opinion is the opposite... the battery is worse because the reception is better. The antenna, the HW is the same, so something is different in radio software and it makes the battery last less...

No difference that I've noticed - on the plus side, some calls (in areas with historically iffy mobile signals) seemed to have improved in quality.

I have a Motion (only had for 2 weeks) on Bell Canada and have poorer battery life after the most recent update. Still get at least 24hrs, but was getting up to 2 days, even 3 days pre-update.

Well, the November (or December) should arrive at anytime. Hopefully this fixes the problem with the current build.

No issues with battery life with my KEY2 since the update... WiFi connectivity definitely was affected however.

I'm hoping the next update fixes the WiFi connectivity issues.

I don't have Facebook installed though, I find it likes to drain batteries even if you don't use it. That goes for messenger too.
