Like others have said. Silver because of the Passport SE.

I had both the original Passport and the Passport SE. Best phone I ever used. The typing experience was just awesome.

I liked the look of the SE much better.

That's true - the 9900 was used as their reference keyboard for thek 2.

IMO, Silver makes it look cheap. Makes the keyboard and everything look so spaced out. The Black ties it all together nicely.

I went for Black but have been nervous about it because for the first time ever, I was keen on the silver. I always think BB's should be black (my Red Passport aside). This is the first vid I have seen which makes me glad I went for the black edition

You can tell that it's plastic around the keys with the black one, whereas with the silver it looks metal. Premium.
The black KEY2 is the first BB I've found to look cheap.

I believe its not metal in either case. The silver looks like plastic to me where its disguised on the black.

Yea I know it isn't metal in either case. Hence me saying it "looks" more premium in silver compared to black. It's very clearly plastic when looking at the black whereas silver comes off more like metal. Like the Passport. In my opinion.

I see it differently i.e. you can't see anything to distinguish it as being either metal or plastic on the black. The silver middle looks plastic in the reviews and pics but maybe its different in the hand. Have to wait and get both of them in the hand to really tell which looks better. The silver certainly is nostalgic with the PPSE and is more 'showy.'

I'm only going off all the unboxing videos I've seen and it's just how it looks with close-ups of the black etc. In side by side images the silver seems more premium but I'm sure in hand they will both feel the same and if anything, the black will be elevated.

Not sure how premium applies to a plastic appearance but I'm ordering both to find out.

As I've said. "I think the silver looks premium as it looks more like metal than the black".
The black model, doesn't look like metal it looks like plastic. So therefore, "in my opinion" the silver looks more premium.
