Well, the fact you ate that food and lived to upload pics of it, is impressive on its own!

    From the KEY1.

The quality of the camera is based upon lighting settings and the quality of the person taking the photo. If you focus on different parts of a potential photo, you can produce different quality of photos. It could be washed out or very sharp.

Beautiful, beautiful pics, love the acuity, love the vivid colours (although a comparison with the real colours would be necessary - but only the observer would know).

JI wonder if BB can get a bokeh emulator for camera apps. Spot focus, everything around then becomes progressively softer hexagons according to calculated distance. Hmmm maybe not, connoisseurs would slate it but it'd be popular with me.

I've said all along the KEY2 camera is perfectly acceptable for a mid-range device, in fact I'd call it at the upper end of the range in regular light from what I've seen; the low light issues will be resolved with an update that I've been told is in the works.

The problem is, people are demanding/expecting DSLR or flagship quality pics for mid-range pricing, but it's just not going to happen. If this phone was launched 12 months ago people would be creaming themselves over the quality of the pictures. It's now a mid-range camera, get used to it and accept the 'compromises' BBMo made or simply don't buy the device.

Personally, if quality is what I'm after then I'll pull out my trusty FM2 or my Hasselblad medium format. No amount of electronic trickery could produce the quality of pictures I get from them, firstly because there's no possible way digital manipulation can over come the optics issue.

Anyhow, that's my rant of the day over and done with. Thank you for (somewhat) listening.

Thanks for the picture - especially showing them in higher quality.

They look very promising to me. The detail on the food looked sharp and crisp.

I am somewhat baffled by the amount of complaints in other threads. The quality of the pics shown here makes me wonder what is behind those - really bad camera - claims.

It's very interesting to me that the threads that dare suggest the camera issues aren't as bad as some, including the narrative perpetuated by the majority of the reviews suggest, are getting far less attention on CB than the, quite frankly, whiney threads pumping the opposite.
