Almost sounds like a brush off but it could be the loss of context in email
Oh, it's a loss alright Chuck.

Agreed... I am on a number of Forums and unfortunately there are always some members on Forums that make it their mission to... wait for it...

Just received a follow up call from BBMo this morning. Case is left open, follow up call every Friday setup. He also mentioned that there should be further tweaking in the next couple of updates. . Something for us to look forward to. Cheers,

Good to know, perhaps March then? We have waited this long, a couple more updates won't break the camels back.

It doesn't preclude the possibility of fixes on the lower driver/API layer.

Think of it as how the OS "speaks" to the keyboard.
Look at the turn this thread took in just one day! Thank you very much for this terrific insight - I mean it

Dunno... but hopefully all of us active participants in this thread have done some self reflection.

I think sometimes there are some here that lose sight of the fact we are all hopefully working for the common good and successful resolution to an issue with our KEY2'S ... ooopppsss, there's that word again... hahaha

Interestingly enough, I got this email response from BBMo today. It is hopeful and very telling. @conite, how would you interpret "Common Issue" ? Not specific, but Common. Cheers,

    Good morning dear Damien

The case was properly escalated when this ticket was created, like you said, you can see a tiny improvement on the sensitivity of the PKB, however we are asking for permission on your end to set the case as resolve since the Tier3 department they already know this is a common issue and they're already working on so on our end no further steps can be taken, this issue will be fixed within the future updates. I also left this information on your voicemail.

    Kind regards!

Thank you for your response. I would however prefer to leave the ticket open as the issue persists. Thank you,

    Sent from Damien's Blackberry K2

The response I just received from BlackBerry Technical Support is somewhat interesting and contradicting to this response. In my reply I inquired as to the reason for this PKB sensitivity issue, software or hardware, as well as if a replacement device would be refurbished. Below is the response I just received...

"This is a hardware issue, the device that will be sent is refurbished.

And also the device that gets sent works fine.

    Best regards"

So which is it? Software or hardware? Inquiring minds want to know...

So when I said earlier, it sounds like a brush off or perhaps loss of context in email, you’ll see my comment was serious...

That response doesn’t sound like wanting to help, but more of a “I've had enough with this file, case or problem and don’t want to help anymore.” Regardless of whether that’s intent or not, to me, that’s how it comes across.

    Chef Chuck ;-)
