what size is the pdf you're trying to open? that may have something to do with iTunes, particularly if it's something like a drawing output onto multiple layers.
I didn't notice any problem even with big files in my everyday work. Perhaps some time to time a little bit laging due the connexion
I use Alzip, Epson print and sometimes Xodo (all pro version) to manage PDF.
Perhaps a old version of PDF or a corrupted PDF was send to you.
I also got the same problem since 2 weeks ago. when I open a pdf, it opens using DRIVE PDF VIEWER, which I dont know where or how that app got install (I presumed its part of Google Drive). anyway, after closing the app and open another pdf, it shows a blank screen with loading icon, nothing is really shown. I have to reboot to open another PDF, but again limit only to single view. even openning the same PDF file for the second time have similar bug.
im force to install Google PDF Viewer, and its working fine.
Currently using Adobe Reader for BlackBerry Key² ....Just that it was lag at max to appear
yes, it might be corrupted pdf file ...Will look into that ...
size was 722kb . small size ....
PDF files open fine on my device with OneDrive's built-in PDF viewer (which also works for PDF's not hosted on OneDrive).
it was fine with previous Blackberry Priv on Adobe Reader app. but something or there is something wrong with Adobe Reader on Blackbbery Key² ...
As one of user quotes, it might be a corrupted files .
Hi Yuzry,
There are many different types of PDF file, and many different versions too: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PDF
Also, code can be embedded in PDF files, and some PDF Readers do not allow this code to be executed.
My suggestion is to try and open the file on a PC (with up to date anti-malware software on it), save the PDF as a different version (including trying a 'compressed' version) and then see if you can read the amended PDF file on your Key2.
A client of mine was complaining that he could not open 17Mb PDF files oh his Key2 (planning documents) - but when these files were saved as compressed PDF files (<1Mb) he could then open them...
Please let us know the outcome. Good luck!
Office Suite pro is what I use
FYI, I have ran into some issues with PDF files and surprisingly Barnes and Noble's Nook app works great for PDF
foxit or xoxo maybe ?
