So... been using the passport for 3.5 years and my key2 arrived today! The reduction in width seems to be really really weird for now. Any passport to key2 converts out there? How long did it take to get used to the new size?

I used as passport years back for over a year you are will find the Key2 a great experience.
buy a wider / bulkier case like Seidio dilex, thats what i am gonna do when they launch it :-). Seriously just use your key2 with a back cover on it, you will definately notice a difference.
Yeah I also use a generic gel case on my KEY2 and I think I like typing with it a bit more than when naked.
well.. its not so much of the device width compared to the alphabets size. but no other complaints!! loving it so far!! finally able to download all the applications BB10 missed out on. Spacebar is not wobbly as well, fingerprint sensor works well. happy with the camera.
When I switched from the Passport to the Priv, I thought I would never be able to figure out how to use the thing, it was so small. Took me about a week to get used to the narrower width and more recessed keys. The plus was having my "alt" button back instead of having to touch the screen for punctuation! Moving from the Priv to the Key2 was again a huge jump, but this time in a very positive way. Typing on the Key2 is a joy. I'm still making mistakes but the keys are so tactile and responsive!! Coming from a Passport to this wouldn't take long to get used to. Congrats on your upgrade :)
I've had my KeyTwo SE for a week now, & getting used to the keyboard. I had the OG black Passport one for 18 months & then got the silver, which I had for just over 2 years. It is taking me some time to get adjusted to theis new keyboard, especially the 4 row keyboard, but I'm getting there. The main thing for me is not having to mess around with all the workarounds to get the apps that I needed.
To be able to have the banking apps, plus the speed with which the Android apps open compared to my Passport is just unbelievable. I can honestly say that I have no regrets. I did love my Passport, but we do have to move on.
I too have added a simple clear Inventcase from Ebay (was cheaper than Amazon at only £3.45) & is actually a nice case. Shows the phone off a treat.
Anyway, I'm dead pleased with my KeyTwo.
It took me about 2 weeks, but I still make occasional mistakes lol so it's probably going to take me 1.5 months total (educated guess) to fully get used to it.
passport is number one PKY

Couldn't agree more!
Great input guys!! Some stuff does not work for me.. using a micro USB to USB C adapter didn't charge the phone. Will test if it works for data transfer later on. I can't seem to find the stock video player. Have to open the video player from 'files', 'videos'. Videos stored on my sd card. And also when I stopped watching, it would not auto resume from where I had stopped.
What program to transfer all my stuff from passport to key2... not wanting to move, but keyboard not working well.. battery slowing down, use passport it gets warm to hot.. thanks for the help
Theres an app called blackberry content transfer. however that did not work for my password, keep getting stuck at permissions page and could not continue with the app. i transferred my contacts thru my sim card and the rest of the stuff thru the sd card manually.
Still not a fan after two weeks. The KEY2 is just to narrow to hold comfortably while typing.
I have purchased almost all the BlackBerry they made.. Passport was big.. but it lived up to a great work horse... if I could replace keyboard and battery I would keep my passport.. oh well I order new key2.. I do not like Android OS
update: im used to the keyboard size now. took me around 3 days of using it ~20hrs. coming from 3.5 years on the passport. cheers
