I think you need to get an app for that such as Textra. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes. Textra is the only way to send messages that I know of. I think Pulse might have this option as well?

I'm using Textra now because I'm so used to pressing send as well.

Textra is a great app and it has many options for text messaging, including the aforementioned option to use the enter key to send your messages.

Well, you guys might want to know that this is an option if you install Gboard https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...utmethod.latin the virtual Enter becomes the Send key which is essentially what we all want to happen with our BlackBerry keyboards, VKB & PKB.

While it may be possible to achieve I won't be at all surprised if Google locked that feature down to their keyboard only....

Pulse is fantastic and has that option. I've tried many apps, it's the best.

Here's another vote for Textra, which allows you to set Enter as Send.

No, my take on this is:

only annoying part of BlackBerry on android is...
...android fiddliness in comparison to BB10 intuitive ease of use.

This is true but improving with every OS version; I think P is going to be a pretty big leap forward.

    Really?

    I'm the opposite.

I couldn't wait for BB10 to add the separate "Send" button (an option they added in one of the 10.2 builds), because I like to add line returns in my texts and the original "enter to send" default caused me to send out incomplete texts all the time.

When I switched to android with the S8, Samsung's text app has the option to use it either way like BB10, but I use Textra which also has the option. I still like that separate send button. Enter to send would drive me nuts.

How can you use BBM as SMS? Don't think there is such a feature....I hope I am wrong though.
