    I only seem to get QC 3.0 to work with the OEM cable. Has anybody found OEM cables for sale anywhere?

    QC improves charge time by increasing voltage, not current, so amperage ratings between cables shouldn't be an issue. I'm using this cable and it charges just as fast as the OEM cable.

    Quick charge seems to work with apple Mac book chargers, and my ThinkPad P52s usb-c charger.

    I'm not sure it's actually quick charging, but it charges really fast. Plus, my phone and my laptop share a charger finally.

    You can be sure until you check with a USB voltage meter.
